Hi, I’m Kathryn

I’ve been immersed in small business culture my entire life—growing up around my family’s construction company taught me the value of hard work and the importance of building something from the ground up (literally😉).

In 2010, I accepted my first "big girl" job post college and managing social media for over 40 restaurant locations was amongst some of my responsibilities. From there, I went onto roles in oil & gas, fresh foods, development, and higher education, where I ran various marketing projects including retention, category upselling, email campaigns, and company branding all while planning events and creating digital content that resonated with followers. Along the way, I learned to wear a lot of hats—often juggling strategy, creativity, and execution all at once

(and they all work hand-in-hand)! The spark for Marketing Y’all came when I realized just how much I loved helping businesses show up consistently, confidently, and stress-free. I wanted to create a space where brands could thrive without having to manage every little detail themselves. So, I built a business that combines structure, creativity, and strategy to give clients the support they need to succeed online, while they can focus on day-to-day operations.

I believe that some of the best ideas come from collaboration, and I’m passionate about working closely with clients who bring fresh perspectives and bold ideas to the table.
